yotsyamaanaan avekshe'ham ya ete'tra samaagataah
dhaartaraashtrasya durbuddheryuddhe priyachikeershavah // 1.23 //

Translation:
Let me have a glance at those who have assembled here to fight, wishing to make happy the evil minded son of Dhritarashtra.
Description:
Before the fight was begun, Arjuna wanted to see all those people who are the convicted victims of the evil plan made by the son of Dhritarashtra, that is Duryodhana not to make a peace negotiation but to estimate the strength of those heroes who are in opposite side.
