Bhagavad Gita - Chapter 1(Part-21&22)
Arjuna Vishaada Yogah:
"Arjuna's Despondency Stage"

arjuna uvaacha
senayorbhayormadhye ratham sthaapaya me'chyuta // 1.21 //
yaavadetaannireekshe'ham yoddhukaamaan avasthitaan
kairmayaa saha yoddhavyamsminranasamudyame // 1.22 //

Translation:
Arjuna said
O Achyuta(Krishna) place my chariot in between both the armies by which I can see those who are present here with the desire to fight and with whom I have to fight in this great battle.

Description:
The Lord Krishna is not only a friend of Arjuna, but he was the charioteer of the chariot of Arjuna in this great battle of Mahabharat. When the war was declared by both the sides by blowing their respective conches, Arjuna was also get prepared with his bow and arrows. But the fact is that, seeing the near and dear ones who are present just his opposite side gradually the mind of Arjuna became unstable. Then, he ordered his charioteer, noone other than Lord Krishna to place his chariot in between both the armies so that he may watch all those who are present in the battlefield and again he'll be able to see those, to whom he is going to shoot his arrows next.
