"Arjuna's Despondency Stage"
tatraa pashyat sthitaan paarthah pitrin atha pitaamahaan
aacharyaan maatulaan bhraatrun putraan pautraan sakheemstathaa
shvashuraan suhridashchaiva senayorubhayorapi // 1.26 //

Translation:
There Arjuna saw in both the side of the armies, his fathers, grandfathers, teachers, maternal uncles, brothers, sons, grandsons, friends, fathers-in-law and well wishers presence.
Description:
When Krishna put the chariot on the middle of both the groups, there Arjuna saw the people who are nothing other than his own fathers, grandfathers, teachers, maternal uncles, brothers, sons, grandsons, friends, fathers in law, well wishers and supporters as well. So, Arjuna again goes on thinking , to whom he is going to fight!! As a result of this battle to whom he is going to destroy, just not other than his own race.
