ayaneshu cha sarveshu yathaabhaagamvasthitaah
bheeshmamevaabhirakshantu bhavantah sarva eva hi // 1.11 //
Translation:
Now all of you take your own respective positions as you stand at the point to fully support and guard grandfather Bhishma by all means.
After concluding and estimating the power of opponent army of Paandavaas, Duryodhana tries his best to encourage his own people so he described the power and strength of those heroes who are there in his side. But the real fact is that, he was so much nervous and scared of Paandavaas' army that, to overcome his nervousness he gradually compares his army power with Paandavaas army in front of his teacher Drona and makes his strategies to defeat the Paandavaas. Though he was concluding grandfather Bhishma as their main strength and Bhima, the strength of Paandavaas, he made his strategy and ordered all of his heroes as well as his teacher Drona to take their respective positions in the battlefield to provide full support and to guard Bhishma.
